If your dark spots are brought on by overexposure to the sun, then this common fruit can be your knight in shining armor. We are talking about tomatoes. It is one of the ingredients that are always present at home. It is rich in lycopene which has different medical benefits and it is the key ingredient that is found in sunscreen!. Take one fresh, ripe tomato and extract its juice. Apply it all over the face and let it sit for 5-10 minutes. After that, rub the juice in a circular motion and then wash it off with lukewarm water. Not only will tomato help in lightening the skin tone but will also give glowing skin. 

  1. Almond Oil

Almond oil is rich in Vitamin E that can help in reducing dark spots and lighten skin. Massage a couple of drops of almond oil to your skin in a circular motion and leave it overnight. The next morning with it off with a mild cleanser and lukewarm water. You should use sweet almond oil as it is non-comedogenic, which means it would not block your pores even if left all night.
